As a member of the Zalo Call Core & Server Team, you will be responsible for building and optimizing the core calling framework that powers hundreds of millions of calls every day. We focus on delivering high-quality, low-latency, and reliable real-time communication at scale, ensuring seamless voice and video experiences for millions of users in Vietnam across different platforms.
🤖 What you will do
- Design, develop, and optimize the performance of Zalo Call Core Library (C/C++ for Android, iOS, PC, Mac) and Call Server (TURN/Relay, Signaling backend);
- Research and implement new technologies to enhance call quality across diverse network conditions and device capabilities;
- Optimize system performance, reduce latency, and solve large-scale technical challenges to ensure seamless real-time communication for millions of users;
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve system stability, monitoring, and scalability.
👾 What you will need
- Strong experience in C/C++; experience with multiple platforms is a plus;
- Solid understanding of Network Programming and Multithreading;
- Strong foundation in Data Structures & Algorithms and Object-Oriented Programming;
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to tackle complex technical challenges;
- Data-driven mindset: Ability to analyze system performance, leverage data and metrics to make informed decisions;
- Experience with Real-Time Communication (RTC) is a plus;
- Experience with Audio/Video Processing is a plus.
