Zalo Product Management Trainee Program (Zalo PMT) is a fast track for young and talented individuals who are passionate to pursue the Product Management career path. Trainees graduating from this program will directly join
Zalo Product teams.
Throughout the 6 months of on-the-job training program - which professionally designed by our senior mentors, who are top Product Managers of Zalo, Zing MP3, Kiki, Laban; trainees will be facilitated base knowledge and involved in the whole process of product management life cycle, from brainstorming ideas to working directly with designers and developers to roll out features to a broader user base.

How many candidates are selected?

We are looking for 15 bright minds. However, in order to ensure the program quality, there is no official quota.

What will be gained through training program?

"Zalo PMT offers hands-on training and close mentorship during the program. The training process includes 2 phases:

1/ Introduction - Base Knowledge (1.5 months): Trainees will be facilitated with a series of training sessions such as the basis of Product Management, Design Thinking, User Empathy, Prototype and Test, and other teamwork assignments.

2/ On-the-job Training (4.5 months): Trainees will be assigned to a specific Product team and work under direct supervision of a mentor to learn and develop skills through hands-on experience. There will be monthly reviews with respective mentors to make sure trainees are growing and developing in their careers."

Are trainees able to choose a specific Zalo product to work on it?

During the competency interview, a candidate's preference is noted and paired with their experience and skill level. Mentors will then assign a specific Zalo product that is the best match.

What's next after the program?

Upon graduation, trainees will be paired with their experience and skills level to identify and officially join Zalo Product teams.
