Senior Technical Product Owner, Zalo Business Solutions
Zalo Business Solutions (ZBS) powers high-scale B2B messaging in Vietnam through products such as Zalo Cloud Account (ZCA) and Zalo Business Template Message, serving thousands of businesses and processing hundreds of millions of messages every month. As these products have grown, the platform underneath them has accumulated complexity, and the way our product team works has not kept pace with how fast we need to ship.
We are hiring a Senior Technical Product Owner to take both of these on. You will own the modernization of the platform foundations of ZCA and Zalo Business Template Message (cleaner APIs, better technical flows, lower friction for developers and partners). You will also reshape how our product team operates day to day, so we deliver faster and better through better systems, standards, and tooling. Both tracks run in parallel from day one.
We are looking for a new generation of product owner: someone who already works differently from a traditional PM, uses AI tools aggressively in their daily work, builds their own automation, and treats their own workflow as a product to keep improving.
🤖 What you will do
Platform modernization:
- Audit the current ZCA and Zalo Business Template Message API surface, technical flows, and developer experience. Identify what needs to be redesigned, retired, or rebuilt;
- Partner with engineering to resolve the technical debt that is slowing teams down or blocking new use cases;
- Design clean interfaces (APIs, data models, system behaviors) for the next generation of ZCA and Zalo Business Template Message capabilities;
- Make our platforms the easiest in their category to build on and integrate with;
Product operations and team productivity:
- Codify how our product team works today (research, specs, launch reviews, post-launch tracking) into clear, reusable standards;
- Build the tooling and automation around those standards so the team spends less time on repetitive work and more time on hard problems;
- Drive a measurable productivity uplift across the product organization. You define the metric and you own the number;
- Treat the team as a product itself: identify friction, ship improvements, measure impact, repeat.

- High agency. You take ownership of messy, ambiguous problems and stay with them until they are resolved. You do not wait for someone else to define the problem for you;
- Structured thinking. You decompose complex, foggy problems into clear, tractable pieces, even in domains you do not yet know well;
- Intellectual honesty. You ask whether something is actually right before you ship. You would rather be corrected early than be wrong publicly;
- Learning velocity. You absorb new patterns, tools, and concepts quickly. We hire for how fast you grow, not for what you already know;
- Taste. You can look at two designs, two specs, or two systems and clearly articulate why one is better than the other;
- Self direction. You can be given a goal and trusted to figure out the path. You do not need daily direction.
Written clarity. You write specs, documents, and reviews that other people can act on without follow-up questions.
Nice to have
- Technical product management background (specs, API design, systems thinking);
- Platform domain experience (quota, billing, SLA, developer experience);
- Familiarity with ZBS, ZCA, or Zalo Business Template Message;
- Engineering background or hands-on technical experience.
