(Senior) Product Specialist, Core Platform

Hồ Chí Minh
Full-time

Zalo is seeking a (Senior) Product Specialist to join the Core Platform team — the team responsible for the foundational systems that power every Zalo product: account management, authentication, user identity, and the end-to-end experience around account lifecycle. These systems serve tens of millions of users daily and are the backbone on which messaging and social features are built.

🤖 What you will do

  • Own the product roadmap for core authentication flows — registration, login, account recovery, and session management — across multi-platforms like iOS, Android, and PC/Web;
  • Manage the full account lifecycle: onboarding, account settings & privacy, device management, inactive account policies, and offboarding flows;
  • Define and maintain the User Identity Model across the Zalo platform, ensuring consistency in how user identity is represented and used across products;
  • Analyze user behavior in funnels to identify drop-off points, friction, and optimization opportunities, design and run A/B tests on UX changes;
  • Collaborate closely with iOS, Android, Backend engineers, Designers, and QC from concept through launch and post-launch monitoring;
  • Write clear, structured PRDs, Confluence specs, and other documentation that allow engineering teams to execute independently and accurately;
  • Integrate user research and usability studies into product decisions, especially for sensitive flows involving security and privacy.

👾 What you will need

  • 3+ years of product management experience in consumer tech, with exposure to platform or shared service products serving millions of users;
  • Solid data skills — able to write and read SQL at an intermediate level to independently answer product questions without full reliance on the data team;
  • Experience designing and interpreting A/B tests or product experiments in high-traffic production environments;
  • Strong UX intuition for complex, security-sensitive flows — knowing when friction is necessary and when it creates drop-off;
  • Experience with qualitative and quantitative research methodologies; ability to synthesize user feedback into actionable product decisions;
  • Structured, logical thinking with a strong ability to break down ambiguous problems and align cross-functional teams around a clear direction.
