Product Specialist, Zalo Notification Service (API & Infrastructure)
Full-time
We’re looking for a Product Manager – Platform & Infrastructure to lead the core technical foundation of Zalo Notification Service (ZNS). This role owns the platform layer that powers how businesses send hundreds of millions of messages to Zalo users — including public APIs, wallet usage tracking, internal tooling, and SLA-critical systems.
You’ll work closely with backend engineers, internal ops teams, and cross-functional product teams to design and scale a robust infrastructure for one of Zalo’s top B2B2C products.
🤖 What you will do
- Own ZNS public APIs: Define and evolve APIs for message sending, template registration, and usage tracking. Collaborate with devs to optimize performance, error handling, and dev exeprience;
- Scale the usage metering & billing engine: Maintain and improve logic around ProductID, quota management, and real-time usage enforcement;
- Build internal service tools: Enable internal teams (support, finance, compliance) to review templates, process disputes, adjust billing, and track service SLAs via purpose-built tools;
- Drive reliability & monitoring: Partner with engineering to define SLAs, incident workflows, alerting systems, and auto-recovery policies for critical messaging infrastructure;
- Collaborate cross-functionally: Align with Business Portal PMs, Zalo Cloud infra teams, and BizOps to ensure platform-level changes support business growth and service quality.
👾 What you will need
Must have:
- 3+ years of experience in Product Management with a technical/platform focus;
- Proven experience working on API products, developer platforms, or infrastructure tools;
- Strong analytical thinking and ability to design systems (e.g., quota engines, retry queues);
- Experience working with engineering teams on scalable backend systems;
- Ability to write clear product specs and coordinate technical implementation.
Nice-to-have:
- Background in Computer Science or Engineering
- Experience in B2B SaaS, messaging platforms, or fintech
- Familiarity with internal admin tools, approval workflows, or billing systems
- Exposure to observability stacks (e.g., logs, metrics, alerting)
