Product Design Collaborator, Zalo Business Solutions (UX/UI)

Hồ Chí Minh
Full-time

The Design team is responsible for the user experience and interface (UX/UI) of Zalo’s business products, including:

  • ZOA - the app and web-based management platform for Zalo Official Accounts
  • ZNS - a platform for creating and sending notification messages
  • Tìm Việc - a job-search Mini App and recruitment tools for employers\

In 2027, the team will be expanding and comprehensively upgrading the UX/UI across all three products. You will have the opportunity to join this journey from the early stages, with dedicated mentorship throughout your onboarding and development.

🤖 What you will do

  • Participate in designing UX/UI for ZOA, ZNS, and Tìm Việc across mobile apps, web platforms, and Mini Apps under the guidance of a mentor.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners (POs) to develop user flows and wireframes, and deliver complete UI designs covering relevant states and use cases before handoff.
  • Work directly with POs, Business Analysts (BAs), and Developers: understand product specifications, proactively clarify ambiguous requirements, and prepare clear Notes for Developers.
  • Apply the design system consistently, including tokens and components; support component documentation and the migration of legacy design files to the new design system.
  • Leverage AI tools in daily workflows, such as Claude, Figma AI, and similar tools, for research, rapid ideation, and design reviews.
  • Conduct design QA by comparing product builds against approved designs and follow through until features are successfully launched.

👾 What you will need

  • A portfolio featuring at least two projects (academic, internship, or personal projects) that clearly demonstrate your end-to-end design process, from problem identification to solution - not just final UI screens.
  • Product-oriented mindset: you are curious about who the users are, what problems a feature is intended to solve, and can identify relevant flows, states, and edge cases.
  • Good proficiency in Figma, including Auto Layout and Components; familiarity with Variables and Component Properties is a plus.
  • Basic understanding of design systems and the roles of design tokens and components.
  • Eager to learn, proactive, open to feedback, and able to work in a structured and systematic manner.

Preffered Qualifications

  • Previous UX/UI internship experience at a company developing app- or web-based products.
  • A portfolio project demonstrating the use of AI in the design process, such as ideation, research, or prototyping.
  • Experience designing for mass-market users or B2B, SaaS, or management/administration tools.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS or experience building prototypes with code.
  • Familiarity with fundamental accessibility principles, including color contrast, touch target sizes, and focus states.

Benefits

  • Receive structured 1-on-1 mentorship and training, covering everything from working with Product Owners and Developers to applying and contributing to design systems.
  • Work on real products with real users from your first few months on the team.
  • Contribute to building the design system architecture for three large-scale products from an early stage.
  • Gain hands-on experience with the team’s AI-assisted design workflow.
  • Competitive benefits, including Social Insurance, Health Insurance, Unemployment Insurance, 13th-month salary, and performance bonus.

How to apply

  • Please submit your CV along with a link to your portfolio.
  • For team projects, clearly specify the scope and deliverables that you were directly responsible for.
  • Candidates selected for the interview round will be asked to present the project they are most proud of - whether an academic, internship, or personal project. Please prepare a presentation file in advance.
