Senior Data Scientist, ZAP

Scientists ZAP advise business stakeholders on how to solve problems with advanced analytics, build predictive models and work with engineers to deliver production models.
🤖 What you will do
- Outline stages of a data product life cycle and propose an implementation plan;
- Research best practices and new methodologies in ML/AI;
- Design ML/AI experiment to evaluate impact and answer business questions;
- Develop and apply NLP for content-based recommendations and ad relevance;
- Package solution as a scalable automated computing pipeline;
- Work with big data technologies to process and analyze large-scale datasets;
- Feedback loop to measure & improve accuracy and outcomes over time;
- Translate complex findings and results into a compelling narrative;
- Aware of design patterns encompassing efficient presentations and dashboards.
👾 What you will need
- 2-4 years of experience in building production models as a Data Scientist/ML Engineer;
- Strong foundation in statistics, probability, and machine learning;
- Strong experience in programming using Python, Scala, SQL, and Spark;
- Knowledge and experience in Big data, and data mining;
- Hands-on experience with boosting models;
- Able to clearly and effectively communicate to cross-functional stakeholders of varying technical understanding;
- Creative thinking, opening mindset, young, active and good at team/individual work.
It is a strong plus if you have:
- Experience with recommendation systems, ad targeting models, and real-time bidding;
- Knowledge of NLP techniques and LLMs;
- Kaggle competition achievements;
