Lead AI Engineer, Zalo Video
Zalo is seeking a highly skilled Lead AI Engineer to join our Short Video Recommendation team. You will lead the development of state-of-the-art recommendation systems that deliver personalized and engaging video content to millions of users. This role demands a strong background in machine learning, deep learning, and large-scale system design.
🤖 What you will do
• Lead and mentor a team of AI Engineers and Data Scientists to build and optimize video recommendation algorithms.
• Design, develop, and deploy large-scale recommendation systems using machine learning and deep learning techniques.
• Conduct experiments and A/B tests to improve recommendation accuracy and user engagement.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI and integrate relevant innovations into the system.
• Analyze user behavior data to refine and enhance recommendation models continuously.
• Ensure scalability and efficiency of AI solutions to handle large volumes of data and traffic.
👾 What you will need
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, Computer Science or related fields.
• Proven experience in building and deploying recommendation systems at scale.
• Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or C++ and familiarity with ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.).
• Proficiency in data processing tools such as Spark, Hadoop, or Kafka.
• Experience with big data technologies and distributed systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Strong communication skills to articulate AI solutions to non-technical stakeholders.
Other requirements:
• Experience in video content analysis and recommendation for video platforms.
• Familiarity with knowledge graphs, embeddings, or graph-based neural networks.
• Contributions to open-source projects or relevant publications in AI.
