🤖 What you will do
- Talent Scouting: Actively seeking out new artists and bands through various channels, including live performances, online platforms, and industry networking;
- Liaison Role: Serving as the primary point of contact between the artist and the company, communicating information and facilitating collaboration;
- Distribution Strategy: Developing and implementing strategies for distributing music across different channels, including digital platforms, streaming services;
- Delivery Management: Ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of music files, metadata, and other related materials to distribution partners;
- Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with digital music platforms, streaming services;
- Sales Monitoring and Analysis: Tracking sales data, streaming activity, and royalty earnings to assess performance and identify areas for improvement;
- Issue Resolution: Addressing any issues that arise during the distribution process, such as delivery delays or metadata errors;
- Contract Negotiation: Negotiating contracts with retailers to secure favorable terms for distribution;
- Collaboration: Working closely with marketing teams internally or of platforms to align release strategies and promotional efforts;
- Compliance: Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations related to music distribution;
- Reporting: Preparing reports on sales, streams, and other relevant metrics for management and artists;
- Other jobs as per requested.

- Knowledge of the Music Industry: Understanding of the music distribution landscape, including digital platforms, streaming services;
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with digital music delivery systems, metadata formats, and file management;
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with various stakeholders;
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze sales data, streaming activity, and other metrics to assess performance;
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and relationships;
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in metadata and file delivery;
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify and resolve issues that arise during the distribution process;
- Relationship Management: Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with distribution partners and other stakeholders;
- Strong Work Ethic: A&R work can be demanding, often involving long hours, unpredictable schedules, and a high volume of work.
