Backend Engineer, Kiki Auto

🤖 What you will do
- Build and maintain core backend services for Kiki Auto, including feature APIs, configuration systems, and reporting pipelines;
- Own features end-to-end, from design, implementation, rollout, monitoring, to troubleshooting;
- Collaborate with Product, Mobile, and Data teams to turn requirements into reliable, scalable solutions;
- Investigate production issues across services using logs, metrics, traces, and data analysis;
- Improve system performance, reliability, and code quality as the product scales.
👾 What you will need
Must have
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field;
- 1–2 years of experience building backend services with Java/Kotlin and Spring Boot;
- Strong fundamentals in data structures, OOP, SOLID principles, and clean code;
- Experience designing and building RESTful APIs;
- Strong hands-on SQL (MySQL/PostgreSQL) skills, including complex queries, joins, aggregations, indexing, query plans, and performance optimization. SQL is a core part of this role, especially for reporting workloads;
- Working knowledge of NoSQL/in-memory databases and their appropriate use cases;
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills, with the ability to trace issues across distributed services and identify root causes.Ability to break down ambiguous problems and independently drive them toward practical solutions.
Nice to have
- Experience with Redis or other caching technologies;
- Experience with Spark or data processing pipelines;
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD;
- Experience with Python or Go;
- Hands-on use of AI coding tools such as Claude, GitHub Copilot, or Codex in your development workflow.
