Operations Director, Zalo

The Operations and Compliance Director will lead operational, organizational risk management, managerial and administrative procedures, reporting structures, and operation controls for ZA. The Operations and Compliance Director will effectively communicate and foster growth among the executive team and all employees. This vital leadership role will drive results, spur growth and increase the overall efficiency of ZA.

What you will do

  • Work closely with the CEO and other key executive team members to create, implement and roll-out plans for operational processes, internal infrastructures, reporting systems and organization policies all designed to foster growth, smoothly and efficiency within ZA;
  • Define the organization’s objectives to reduce and control operational risks through risk identification, risk assessment, measurement and mitigation to an acceptable level;
  • Plan on budgeting, forecasting and resource allocation programs;
  • Set challenging and realistic goals for growth, performance and profitability;
  • Motivate and encourage employees at all levels as one of the key leaders in ZA including but not limited to professional staff, management level employees and executive leadership team members;
  • Foster a growth-oriented, positive and encouraging environment while keeping employees and management accountable to company policies, procedures and guidelines;
  • Create effective measurement tools to gauge the efficiency and effectiveness of internal and external processes;
  • Provide accurate and timely reports outlining the operational condition of ZA.

What you will need

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field. MBA from Top Business School is preferred;
  • Three or more years at the Director/ C-level, managing a large organizational business;
  • A good team player, responsible, adaptable and positive attitude, and the hardest worker in the organization;
  • People, organizational and budgeting-focused mindset helpful;
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists;
  • Exceptional executive presence, operation acumen and presentation skills;
